The textbooks aim to present basic elements of the \nArabic language and their functions, while the activity books focus on \nenrichment material with special emphasis on writing. The teacher’s \nmanuals offer tips on teaching Arabic efficiently with positive results.\n \u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003cu\u003eSupport Material:\u003c\/u\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003eTeachers will be pleased with \nthe full array of support materials available, such as a collection of \naudio records, posters, and cards. These books also include ideas for \nadditional activities, such as chants, competitions, and linguistic \nplays. All of these materials will help to make each lesson exciting and\n active for students. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003cu\u003eStudent Textbook:\u003c\/u\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003eThe \nStudent Textbooks are comprised of 24 units: 66 basic lessons of new \nmaterial, plus an additional 6 units for revision. Each basic unit \ncontains 4 lessons of new material, including dialog text, expressions, \nand vocabulary, and communication exercises. These units contain \nconversations, pronunciations and expressions, grammatical structures, \nlistening, reading, thinking, writing, and extra activities, such as \nselections of Qur’an, ahadith and nasheed; where the teacher books \ninclude a midterm and final test. Answer keys can be found in the \nteacher's manuals. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003cu\u003eActivity Book:\u003c\/u\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003eThe activity \nbook simply enhance the material found within the student textbooks. \nThey mainly concentrate on writing skills with some review of verbal \nskills. Each contains many different activities which can be done at \nschool or at home, such as coloring and painting pages; word matches; \nreading letters and sentences; writing words, letters, and numbers; and \nanswering questions.
